The Dao Temple Bible Institute offers the widest variety of religious degrees of any school its size in the U.S.A. However, we do not offer any secular “Arts” (which represents a wide scope of studies including such subjects as education, human relations, literature, etc.), or PhD degrees. A Ph.D. doesn’t have to do with the study of philosophy. It is awarded for study in many fields such as Communications, Management, Education, Human Relations, etc. and is not necessarily considered a religious degree, so THE CHRISTLIGHT BIBLE INSTITUTE does not offer it.

DEFINITIONS OF DEGREES

All of these degrees are religious in nature and not only overlap, but are sometimes thought of inter-exchangeable.

BIBLICAL SUBJECTS---the study of major Scriptural themes and the main topics of the Sacred Scriptures. Courses dealing with various doctrines of the Word of God; that which is devoted to the fundamental beliefs of the Holy Bible.
CHRISTIAN EDUCATION---general instructions in Christianity, and the study of the doctrines of Christ. Training in the teachings of Jesus Christ and the development of Christian Character.
DIVINITY---the study of the one and only Deity. Having to do with the supreme, infinite and eternal qualities of the Almighty; pertaining to the Divine Godhead or Holy Trinity. That which is inspired by God.
MINISTRY---pertaining to the work of the Lord and service for God. Training in the performance of office of clergy. Rendering help to people and caring for the saints.
THEOLOGY---the study of God and the expounding of Christology; Courses dealing with the relationship between God and the universe and man. The cultivation of the theological virtues of faith, hope, and charity.

Since our courses are rather general, we don’t mind accommodating our students by granting their preference to receive their diploma, associate, bachelor, masters, or doctor’s degree in Biblical subjects, Christian Education, Divinity, Ministry, or Theology, etc. because as stated above, these terms blend and overlapped in most creeds, books, and schools.

Course Materials are free and are delivered in ebook format and you can print them out if you like. Some courses in the future will require physical books which will have to be ordered.

Our Ministry

There are many different titles for the jobs within the kingdom: Shephard, Vineyard Attendant, Prophet, Husbandman, Crier, Reaper, Sower, Light Worker, Peace Maker, Herald, Servant (Angel) and many others. We give them titles of Pastor, Minister, Reverend, Father, Rabbi, each one has a special job within the kingdom - each with the respect of the other, each son's and daughters of Gods.

Many voices, one message, some days I will feel like listening to an inspired sermon, other days to experience the peace of heaven.

To hear a firey sermon or experience the gentle praise of a butterfly being born, they are all one under God. Jesus said "If you have done it unto the least of them, you have done it unto me".

If you want to experience life, just don't look for it in one place, look for it in all places.

Amiel: The French Philosopher said about religion: "Religion is not a method, it is a life: a higher and supernatural life, mystical in its roots and practical in its fruit, a communion with God, a calm and deep enthusiasm, a love which radiates, a force which acts, a happiness which overflows".

Children's Charities

Each day we celebrate the birth of a child. We plan for this childs life, we see the Child's looks in the face of the father or mother, we wonder will they grow up to be good and worthy of the title of "A Child of God". Genesis 4:9, "Am I my brother's keeper?" We are indeed are our brother's keeper. Like a Father who cares for His Children, we are "One People under God".

Consider this when you look at your life, have you a personal relationship with God? Does that relationship have many people in who you rely or they rely on you, extended family, friends, people who rely on your skills? Or simply just yourself, you need to feed and care for yourself.

Our Ministry will help you find God in your heart, your mind and soul. This can be achieved by giving " And behold, I tell you these things that ye may learn wisdom; that ye may learn that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God". When you act from your own Christ like nature, even He must smile with joy.

Our Ministry will help Children with shelter, food, clothing, education, medical care and joy, giving them the opportunity to enjoy their life to the fullest they can.
