Australian Indigenous Religions - (AIR) is ("Being") the freedom of who you are in relation to your society, you are a creator, living a spiritual life using your imagination and planning to live the life of your dreams.
There have been many words to describe the "Dreaming ". but all have been used as an analogy for being who you are right now.
We have never left the Dreaming, the presence of the Great Spirit or the dreamtime, we have just forgotten about it. our oneness and interconnectedness has never ceased, as it is still true today that "In the presence of the Great Spirit" as it was for our ancestors.
The creator of this world which we call the Great Spirit of our Ancestors, The Ancient of Days, sent his Sons to us a long time ago to teach us about living in his world.
We were given an instruction manual in the form of tales, stories, myths and legends as an easy way to remember, much like teaching children their ABC'S.
Everything in this world has a name, being its life force of existence, when we came to know the name of "steel" we learnt to use it. This will continue to happen as we learn the names of Earth's (Gods) creation. We have tamed animals by knowing their names.
Since we live in the presence of Great Spirit of our Ancestors, physical death is just the loss of our earthly bodies. Since we are immortal and eternal beings, there can never be a time when we cease to exist, we just change from one world to another, so to with this world. The Spirit of an Ant is never lost, returned and reborn (re-embodied) in another, each to their own, what works for an Ant won't work for a whale.
Life (dreaming, heaven, eden) are different names for our state of eternal being and interconnectedness with our inner life force. No past, present or future, it is our environment in which we live, our state of knowingness, we are constantly in a state of self-evolution. The development of our spiritual and emotional maturity, the self-evident becoming immortal joining others in eternal life.
This has to be felt and known (heart and mind) till we can say "I am myself"
Nobody can take away from you that which you are born with, no-one can sell it back to you.
